Grounded one hit kills is a sandbox button — brilliant for screenshot tours, terrible for learning parries.
Good uses for instakill
Clearing trash mobs while base building, testing loot tables, or speeding NG+ gear runs.
Disable before story bosses if you want mechanics practice.
Less extreme option: super damage at 3x.
Bosses and quest scripts
Some quest steps expect phased boss health. Instakill can skip cues and soft-lock scripts.
If a boss door will not open, turn off kills and retry.
